Welcome Dr. Moon!

Dr. Moon is retiring after 43 years
We will be welcoming his clients to Patience after Labor Day
To help smooth the transition, Dr Moon has volunteered to work one morning a month
This will allow it to continue their relationship, and also facilitate a smooth transition to our practice
I am unsure how this is going to impact scheduling at this time, please be patient
Thank you for continuing to support Sebastian Animal And Bird Hospital

Small Mammals

We treat an extensive selection of small mammals such as rabbits, ferrets, sugar gliders, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, rats, mice, chinchillas, hedgehogs, prairie dogs, degus, callitrichids, capybaras, and more. If your small mammal is not listed feel free to call our office, we likely treat them as well. Annual wellness exams are strongly recommended regardless of species to keep your pet healthy. We are also here in case of illness or emergency and will always try to see you as soon as possible!

Reptiles

Just like mammals, it is important to ensure that reptiles are healthy and properly cared for. We see snakes (constrictors, pythons, tree snakes, garters etc.), lizards (geckos, chameleons, iguanas, bearded dragons, tegus, etc.), turtles, tortoises, and other reptiles. These species are becoming increasingly popular as pets. We have the resources to help with their well-being and provide appropriate guidelines for how best to care for them.

Amphibians, Fish, Farm Animals

In our practice we can treat salamanders, frogs, toads, axolotls, goldfish, and most other amphibians or fish. We can also see pigs, sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas, and other farm animals as long as they can be transported to the hospital.
