Compassionate Pet Surgery

Our Team is Skilled in Both Routine and Complex Surgical Procedures

In our continuing efforts to offer the highest quality veterinary medicine, we are pleased to provide a wide range of surgical services for our patients. From routine surgical procedures (spay and neuter – dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, pigs and others) and mass removals, to more complex surgeries ( splenectomy, gastrotomy, enterotomy, cystotomy, liver biopsy etc), we look forward to the opportunity to care for your pet’s surgical needs.

Our staff is highly skilled in monitoring anesthesia (SP02, ECG, Blood Pressure Monitoring, End Tidal CO2, TPR, etc.), pain management, fluid therapy and performing surgery. We will make every effort to ensure that your pet receives the very best care. Our focus on patient safety, pain management, and current surgical practices. We want to exceed your expectations and put your concerns to rest. Our staff of compassionate, caring professionals will monitor your pet before, during, and after surgery and will take exceptional care to ensure a safe and complete recovery for your pet. We will also address any questions or concerns you may have about surgery, anesthesia, pain management, and postoperative care.

Request an Appointment

To request an appointment please call our offices directly! Due to the high volume of patients we see our schedule is often filled rapidly and thus we are unable to offer online appointment scheduling. For non-emergency scheduling we also offer a text number which is 772-675-1929. Our patient portal is also accessible through PetPro Connect, linking you to all of your pets reminders and giving you easy access to request prescription refills. This is available through invitation and upon request we will send you an email link to setup your account.

We provide safe drugs for induction, and provide gas anesthesia when appropriate. We monitor anesthesia with ECG, SPO2 monitor, blood pressure, capnography, and in some species we also use a doppler. We provide warmed IV fluids during anesthesia. We maintain body temperature with external heat support.

Surgery can be a source of anxiety and stress for many pet owners. Maybe you worry about whether your pet will be well cared for, or perhaps you have concerns about adequate precautions and monitoring. Let us address your concerns. Whether your pet needs a minor surgical procedure (mass removal with a local) or a complex procedure (laparotomy) , call us. Let’s discuss how our surgical services can benefit your pet.

When your pet is ready to go home, we will review your postoperative care and medication instructions. If any questions arise after your pet returns home or at any other time during the postoperative period, call us. We welcome your questions and will do all we can to help your pet recover comfortably. Help is only a phone call away.
